We are looking for young, qualified and dynamic graduates who can be inducted into Indian Overseas Bank as Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I after imparting them with the necessary knowledge and skills required for allround bankers through the  1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course  in   Indian Overseas Bank
Manipal School of Banking (IOBMSB).

Recruitment Criteria:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (AS ON 01.09.2013):
i)  Graduation  from  a recognised  University/Institution  with minimum  60% Marks.  (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum  55%  Marks).  Graduation results should be  declared  by the University/Institution  on or before 01.09.2013. The candidates should produce the Semester/Year wise Mark Sheets, Consolidated Degree Mark Sheet and Provisional Certificate at the time of Interview, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to attend the Interview 

AGE (AS ON 01.09.2013):
Minimum Age: 20 Years; Maximum Age: 28 Years. Relaxation in maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PC/Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Government Guidelines.

Recruitment Criteria:

Probationary Officer Recruitment, Candidates should have knowledge (to read,write
and speak) of any one of the Southern India regional Languages vizTamil,Telegu,Malayalam and Kanada.
Recruitment of clerical cadre in our bank is done on State-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State (Ref.1.3). Proficiency in the Official Language of the particular State is essential (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State) for which vacancies a candidate can apply. Others need not apply.

Education:

Probationary Officer-Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline withI class, 60% marks from any University recognised byUGC.

Junior Assistant/Clerk-Graduation in any discipline from any university recognised by UGC.

Recruitment Instructions:

Candidates are required to bring the to the test centre Print out of Call Letter (which can
be downloaded by the candidate using the Registration number and password obtained at
the time of registration of online application). A recent passport size photograph has to be
affixed on the system generated call letter. 

Candidates will have to appear for the online test to be conducted by the Bank. The
successful candidates will be called for an interview. Subject to their being medically fit
for employment, the selected candidates will be initially appointed on probation. The
Bank reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason and no
correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
